16th Annual Pumpkin Decorating Contest • October 8
Guadalupe County Fair & Rodeo Association • 2nd Weekend in October
Arrival of Horticulture & Pumpkin Decorating Contest entries will be received Wednesday, Oct 6 from 2-8 p.m. in the Coliseum @ the Master Gardeners Booth.
Arrival of Pumpkin Decorating Contest entries will be received Thursday, Oct. 7 from 5-8 p.m. in the coliseum @ the Master Gardeners Booth.
- Judging will begin at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 8.
- Entries will remain on display until Sunday, Oct. 10 at 4 p.m.
Age groups: 4-6; 7-9; 10-12; 13-17, & adult
- Entries may be painted or carved, EXCEPT age 4-6, which may be painted or decorated only.
- No plastic or ceramic pumpkins allowed — real only.
- Pumpkins must be completed before arrival.
Cash & other prizes will be awarded in the following categories:
- Pumpkinality
- Originality
- & Creativity
All winners will be photographed Saturday, Oct. 9, at 11 a.m.
